It also blooms in the first year of cultivation, but normally, from the second year.
Direction of production: Garden Mallow is a valuable decorative plant, by the high port, the vivid color of the flowers, which are involute, large and placed axially, giving the feeling of elegance.It can also have other uses: culinary, medicinal, cosmetic, etc. In organic farming garden mallow is used as an activator of composting bacteria.

Annual plant, ornamental and through the dwarf bush-shaped port, having the waist of 35-40 cm. The flowers are grouped in simple or involte inflorescences of more than 65%, of various colors, having at maximum flowering a large number of flowers open simultaneously on the plant. Perennial plant, with globular. Bush type. Port, very elegant at flowering, with the size and diameter of the Bush of 1.0 – 1.3 m. Small, simple, white, simple and very numerous flowers open simultaneously, giving appearance of white globe at full flowering. It blooms in the second year of cultivation, in july.
Cultivation conditions: usually it multiplies by seeds, which are sown in march-april in protected spaces (greenhouse, solarium, or seedling) with seedling production and planting in early summer, or it can be sown in july - august on furrows outside and planted in place permanently in autumn.
Planting is good to do at 1.5 m distance between plants, due to the diameter of the bush.Direction of production: for fresh or dried cut flowers, alone or combined with other summer flowers, as a support for them. It is a plant with multiple uses, being also culinary, but also with medicinal properties.
Margaretă Diana
Perennial plant, erect – compact port and waist of 55 – 65 cm. The inflorescence is large of the capitular type, with a diameter of 7-10 cm. The color of ligulate flowers is white and yellow to tubular ones. On the plant are a large number of main floral stems (8 - 12) whose length is 45 – 55 cm. It blooms after 120-130 days after sowing.
Culture conditions: it multiplies generatively, but also vegetatively. Sowing seeds is carried out in march-april in protected spaces with seedling production that is planted after the passage of late brasses. In this case, it blooms from the first year, to autumn.

An annual plant of the group Grand Unicum, with a height of 45-55 cm, the port is semi-straight, and at flowering it acquires the appearance of a tall, globular bush. The inflorescence is enveloped, of the chapter type, with a diameter of 7 - 9 cm. The ligulate flowers are acicular of white color, and the yellow tubular ones that are covered by white fine ligules. It blooms in early july and decorates until the first decade of september.The floral stems are straight, in number of 5 - 7 main. Growing conditions: it multiplies generatively, sowing can be staggered, from march to may, also ensuring flowering over a long period of time.Production destination: it is recommended as a cut flower and for platbands, curbs in parks and gardens.
Ochiul Boului Cora
Annual plant, of the group Grand Unicum (acicular), having the waist of 60-80 cm; the port is erect, and at flowering it becomes a tall, globular bush.
The flowers grouped in involute heads, have the diameter of 10-13 cm; the ligulate flowers are sharp and long purple-blue, and the tubular (fertile) are yellow, covered by violet acicular ligules.
Floral stems are straight and long, in number of 6-8 main, with 5-6 inflorescences open at once. It blooms from july to september. Growing conditions: it multiplies generatively, sowing can be staggered, from march to may, also ensuring flowering over a long period of time. Production destination: it is recommended as a cut flower and for platbands, curbs or in mixture with other species in parks and gardens.
Petunia Sorina
Annual plant, with dwarf. Port, very vigorous and branched, with the waist of 20-25 cm. The shoots are long, the flowers have a large, simple. Corolla of purple color, fringed on the edge, having a large number of open flowers simultaneously on the plant. It blooms all summer, until the haze comes.
Growing conditions: it is sown from march to april in protected spaces (greenhouse, solarium, or seedling) with seedling production, or directly in the field, in april. Direction of production: ornamental plant for green spaces, but also for pots, gardeners, with a tendency to pendulum plant, and if it is trimmed after maximum flowering, it can have 2 – 3 waves of abundant flowering and in balconies or terraces.

Annual, succulent plant with very small waist of 15-20 cm, repentant stems. Flowers vividly and variously colored, most are involute, with large diameter.
